
Challenge: A Fortune 500 wanted
to take their annual two-day conference to the next level and ‘go
green’.
Solution: With an eye to sustainability,
an expo was added that offered attendees practical, hands-on examples
of how organizations are adjusting their everyday practices to go green.
A keynote, recently having authored a book on carbon offsets, offered
insightful tips for ‘greening your business’ over the lunch
hour.
Conference materials, previously available in thick
binders, were made available on flash drives for easy access on guests’
laptops. Attendees took notes on pads made from recycled paper and meals
featured local, organic catering.
